Company History
In the early 1980s, two hometown boys were brought together by their association with a local bank. Their extensive knowledge of HVAC systems led them to bond over a similar desire to provide honest and dependable services to the East Texas area. After much discussion, Jon Clinton and Wayne Morris proudly opened Jon Wayne Company on April 1, 1983. As the business progressed and grew, their 4,000-square-foot building was quickly doubled in size.
Two years after opening, Rodney Newsom was onboarded to the management team to handle the increasing installation requests. Again, the company building doubled in size as the inventory required to keep up with demand grew.
In 2014, Jon Clinton retired after many years of dedicated service. Both Jasper Scott and Andy Clinton joined the partnership with Rodney Newsom. Since then, the Jon Wayne Company team has continued its founding values of quality customer service, quality products, and quality installations.
